So as I listen to this I have to ask to any Welsh people - how is Meic perceived now in Wales? Like I know he was courted as a legend by bands like Super Furry Animals years ago. I also know he's said some ill advised things. Also wonder if it's just old people that like him or young people too? #Welsh #Wales #MeicStevens

Listening to the Meic Stevens record Gwymon. If you don't know Meic Stevens he's mostly known for singing in Welsh - save a couple early singles and a big effort from Reprise Records in '71, where he put out an English speaking album in the US and it died a terrible death. Meic is known for gentle ballads or crazy psych folk - what I like about this album is, this sounds like an album he wrote to take the band out and play dances, make people move. #vinyl #records #MeicStevens #NowPlaying
