Carmelite water, a.k.a. Klosterfrau Melissengeist (not really water but high % alcohol with a bunch of herbal extracts) has always been very popular as a body rub for aches and pains or internally diluted in a cup of tea to calm the nerves, settle the stomach and whatever ails might befall the human mind and body.
I am going to play around with some essential oils from the same herbs and ordinary vodka (the high % alcohol is only required for the herbal extract) to see if I can create something similar.
