I'm trying to work out if I should ask for help with uni expenses (books, software subscription, etc), because being on jobseeker means I don't get enough to cover rent, meds and food, let alone other expenses.
I believe in mutual aid, especially as an anarchist. And I always help other people's requests when I can - and I've often swapped making things like scarf and masks etc for donations to Sisters Inside and mutual aid requests.
But also I feel guilty asking for help for me.
(narrator voice: it was at this point they had a breakthrough, contemplating why they might not feel they deserve to be helped, and the phrase they use in therapy a lot to explain why their mother never had food in the house while they were growing up - 'we nourish what we love, and if we're not nourishing it then we don't feel it deserves to be loved')
*makes notes to talk about that in next appointment*

Popping in to say I hope everyone has a wonderful day 💖
I've got an assessment to do today and then class. My last assessment for this term and then break until next year. I'm loving being on top of things now. Would've been so difficult pre-trauma therapy.
Note: edited to say pre-trauma. I'm still sleepy 😄
