I weathered this #HOscale Ahearn Genesis model of a CN GP38-2CW a number of years ago from its protype photos. I used every trick in the book: oils, washes, airbrush, chalks etc. I think the one thing I would like to change is the pink primer. It’s an oil paint, but its somewhat thicker than I would like and while it doesn’t hide any details, in my head I would like it to be as thin as possible.
