Dispatched on the back of lorries and bolted together on site, a house comes complete with staircases, windows, doorways, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and sockets, radiators and heat pump. The roof is hoisted into place, brick cladding added to the outside walls and the interiors are finished off within about 12 weeks"
