Finished #MoonGirlAndDevilDinosaur it was pretty sick. I'm in love with the animation, characters, humor and soundtrack. Some great friends and family themed stories in there as well as self-discovery and protecting your neighborhood. I will never be a superhero person, but this show like Spiderverse offers so much that I can't say no. The non-ending was a little annoying though I must say. It's almost like Marvel won't allow its stories to end.

The animation for #MoonGirlAndDevilDinosaur is what hooked me at first. It's a lot like the 4-color comic style from the Spiderverse movie - very fresh and fun, and really captures the comic book feel. It's definitely a kids' show, so the stories are pretty simple, but that doesn't mean it has nothing to say. Epsiode 5 "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" was so sweet - basically a message to Black girls to be proud of their natural hair, and how to deal with racist criticisms of appearance. It's great to see that kind of message in a kids' show. And on Disney! They've come a long way since Song of the South.
