Honestly, I think Mastodon has the capacity to be a driving force in #MutualAid. If we can save journalists, how much more so our online neighbors?

So please consider supporting you local grassroots mutual aid organizations.

Broadway Aid is a group who feeds the homeless in and around Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. They provide meals every week and gather cold weather clothes in the winter time.
They are a mostly word of mouth organization and don't have much of a web presence but accept donations via Venmo $Broadway-aid.

1st up, From The Heart PNW is a group led by a terminal cancer patient which provides weekly meals to the homeless in North Seattle.
