Following up on my boosts from yesterday: I don't, generally, have a problem with people wanting to actively monitor their health. But the problem with this trend is that people are pulling from a finite supply of continuous glucose monitors (CGM) with luxury and privilege for something they don't NEED, and there are tons of people with diabetes, in the US and around the world, who do not have access to a CGM. EVERYONE WHO USES INSULIN SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO A CGM. Your blood glucose hitting 120, or even 180, isn't a problem, because you will immediately see it come down. When it shoots past 180, rockets into outer space and just says "HIGH" - then you can have a CGM. Until then, wait your fucking turn. https://www.self.com/story/continuous-glucose-monitor-wellness-trend #diabetes #T1D #CGM #Insulin4All #MyDiseaseIsntYourFunTrend
