My wife, myself, and our 7 year old finally got to play a proper game of My Little Scythe since finishing the #painting of the #miniatures
Our 7 year old won the tie breaker against my wife and she was pretty excited. She said, "Daddy, post on the socials that the 'bear-ys' won!"

Finally finished painting up the My Little Scythe minis we got at Christmas.
My 7 year old picked all the color schemes and I handled the painting. This was my first time painting any sort of miniatures and there was a ton of lessons learned. But regardless, it was fun and my littlest is loving the results.
Any thoughts or advice? Thinking of painting #Scythe but don't want to ruin it with shoddy work.

Ok, this is my last post on painting these Tigers from #MyLittleScythe. Hit them with some acrylic clear coat and that helped bring out some brightness. Thanks for all the feedback people have given. Looking forward to improving over the next 10 #miniatures

I've put the coloring on the outfits of the Tigers from #MyLittleScythe and I'm fairly happy with the results. The eyes were difficult (as I assumed but I'm very happy with how they turned out since they were my first.)
Overall, the minis just seem chalky (?) and muted. Maybe they aren't as bright as I hoped bc I primed in black and maybe i didn't use enough white when doing the #SlapChop. I have 10 more to do, so any criticism would be helpful! #paintingminis #minipainting #minis #BoardGames

Trying my hand at painting some minis. #MyLittleScythe comes with unpainted ones and my 7 year old wanted them done. She is choosing the colors and I'm painting.
Since I've never done this and I'm not looking for them to be display worthy pieces of art, I'm using the #SlapChop method.
I'm fine with them at moment but the test will be if I can get the colors on the outfits to pop. Oh, and making the eyes half way decent...

Tried out the "Automountie" mode in My Little Scythe so I could help my 7 year old learn how to play solo. I tried the normal difficulty and got beat by one trophy. The Great Monkey Kingdom was not to be trifled with.

We talked our 13 year old into playing #MyLittleScythe so we had a game of 5. I still lost, badly. This time, my 7 year old won, and she was super excited that she got to win HER game!

We got our 7 year old #MyLittleScythe for #Christmas and just played our first game. It was me, my wife, our 7 year old and our 10 year old. Both kids picked it up surprisingly fast. 10 year old ended up winning but the 7 year old was only about one round away from victory. Great game and another solid production from #StonemaierGames
