If you are considering to write a server-based multiplayer game, I really recommend using a monitoring tool such as . Last time it took me "only" 20 minutes to spin up my DataServer again for . Previously, I was often messaged by a player saying they could not trade anymore because the server was down. 😅

Of course, now I need to get that WatchDog process to restart the DataServer again, instead of just sitting by, twiddling thumbs... 🙄

Quickly closing in on my revenue goal for of 5.50₮:
It's been one week since I activated voluntary ads in the game and I already earned 0.13$! ðŸĨģ
That means only ~46 more weeks to reach that objective! 😂

Of course, it's currently mostly myself clicking on that button. I could use a little help - and the game is actually not that bad ... 😊

If you are using in a Unity app, you may have come across the same problem as I have - permissions! 😓 The requirements changed quite a bit with Android 12. I've written a entry on how I finally solved my issues, using the Unity API or Java code directly.

A new update for is available (Release 0.4.6.1). I've fixed some problems with app permissions on Android 12 - would anyone with such a device like to test it? Up to now, the "devices nearby" permission had not been requested correctly.
