I did it. I will finally begin archery and there are some small things I will need for doing that.

I am poor, disabled, depressive and neurodivergent, the assistant I have motivated me to join a shooting club because he says it will be good for me, mind and body, but the financial things are scaring me a lot.

I was just reminded that one #actuallyAutistic trait of mine has always been to meticulously research the specific language of a domain when I came in from the cold. Not only the opaque specification lingo, but especially all the jargon for discussions in the margins.

This works the same in tech as in any other #grammarSchool-alike #caste system. Your peers may still despise you for your #neurodivergency, but immediately accept your authority because of your idiomatic accent.

something I realised long back, was in denial of despite having been given reality checks by my parents, my psychiatrist and my partner, is that I need to have one serious hobby, one job, maybe one passion project and good amounts of time to unwind to remain sane.

It seems easier to get multiple things on my plate, half ass the unavoidable but painful shit to prioritise stuff that can be dropped but gives an instant boost of validation,

hey I have a question for #neurodivergent people
there's this kid in my school who, forgive me for not knowing how to say this tactfully, "obvious" when it comes to his #neurodivergency. I assume it's some developmental and learning disability specifically. He has a "caretaker" in the school and I've been wondering how to tactfully ask her what exactly he has. Not that it's any of my business but I consider him a good friend and I wanna be able to understand him better. How do I go about asking?

I'm close to my 30s, work in #MentalHealth and am passionate about that. I also love to figure out my own mind and share about that.

I'm #queer (sexuality wise), and a cis woman. My long-time fiance is #NonBinary, and I deeply care about that and #trans topics too. They are also #ActuallyAutistic and I think I'm somewhere on the #ADHD spectrum. We love figuring out #neurodivergency together.

I am #fat and #BodyPositivity as well as #HealthAtEverySize are HUGE to me.

Because I'm a literal big, strong stoic white male. You might say I'm the strong silent type.

Did I do the content warning thing right? I've spent about two hours exploring the idea of literalness and *MY* sense of humor because the two are so intertwined with me.

Basically all I do is send out statements which exist in a state of ternary semantic superposition between boring pronouncement of fact, hilariously clever quip, and davidbrentian inducer of cringe, by which I mean the that particular oscillatory state of low-grade contempt and bone-deep dread that I assume we're supposed to understand the characters reacting to Brent are experiencing because of him when he's making his most desperate and obvious attempts to be liked.

I can highly recommend watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix. It is a South Korean courtroom drama series about an lawyer with autism spectrum disorder, and her battles to establish herself as sucessful practitioner in a large law firm. So far it has covered neurodiversity, same-sex relationships, sexism, and suicide in a thoughtful, intelligent and nuanced manner. Korean with english subtitles, or dubbed if you must. IMDB 8.7 100% Rotten Tomatoes.
