I think the most frustrating part of this period dense in commitments is that I don't find enough time to play some #NodeCore. This is particularly frustrating because I was really looking forward to testing it on the #SteamDeck, but as @rubenwardy mentioned in this thread <https://fosstodon.org/@rubenwardy/108754200073740956> setting it up isn't yet “point and click”, and I honestly don't have the energy to put in the even minimal effort needed.
At this rate, by the time I'll have it, it _will_ be just “point and click”.

@rock I know the #Nodecore developer has something set up that spans in-game chat, IRC, Discord, Matrix and Twitch. I'll see if they have details to share.

Some days ago I published a fork of the #Minetest engine bundled with #NodeCore onto Google Play.

It's free with no ads of course (albeit contains adze 🙃), and contains various additional improvements done to the engine.

Source code is also available and I did a writeup on the Minetest Wiki (https://wiki.minetest.net/Distributing_Minetest_Games) about some of the changes I did. Hopefully this can show #Minetest's worth as a proper engine that can distribute games independently of the MT ecosystem.
