The center of #Amsterdam is all dolled up for tomorrow's Canal #Pride Parade. Lovely! Alas, I can't make it to the parade this year. Still, I will post a few things referencing it. Here's my old band #Nomeansno (before I joined, it has to be said) with their song No Sex (lyrics behind the CW'd image).

"The first show we ever played in the East Bay (or anywhere south of the Mendocino County line). Afterwards, a bunch of people got together and said, "We've got to find a place where we can put on shows like this all the time." A few weeks later, Gilman Street was born.

I don't post #NoMeansNo (my old band) stuff on YT but I made an exception here because it documents us doing #HeyHeyMyMy, one of my fave #NeilYoung songs, on my final tour with the band in the fall of 1991.

This show took place in the 2nd most remarkable location I've ever played, inside of the dungeon-like remains of the former Stalin Monument in Prague.

I'll tell y’all about the 1st most remarkable gig location another day. ;-)
