One of my #PowerShell hacks for #PowerBI just got a huge #upgrade: #Pipeline support!

In layman's terms, this means that one #function can be strung together with another function in a single PowerShell command, and the outputs from the first function feed directly into the second's inputs. The best part is that the whole chain of functions can operate as a #stream, so as soon as the first item is available, it gets passed down to the next function in the chain, which begins processing that item, while the previous function is working on the next item in the queue. It's like an #AssemblyLine for data!

Of course, now I'll have to go back and apply this technique to all of the other functions I've written previously. #NoRestForTheWicked 😈

Was just reading through the jury summons I received in the mail today, and pondered the qualification of not being under indictment or any other legal accusation, and was sad that it only covered the present tense. Plus, I don’t think being under investigation counts as a “legal accusation” (IANAL). Pity, as I was thinking being investigated by the Feds a few times years ago could have a positive side effect. Oh well.

Working on multimodal embodied AI forces to you learn a lot, about a lot of stuff. Focusing on the "hearing" subsystem for #BozBox right now, so having to spend a lot of time on signal processing stuff that I don't know much about. Learning everything from ALSA, JavaSound API, etc. through audio file formats (PCM, WAV, etc.), to spectral analysis, FFT, DFT, and so on. And that's just to front-end the work on actual speech recognition. Wheeew!!!
