Northfield Police are currently searching for an armed male assailant after an incident early this morning.

At 4:26 Sunday morning, June 4th, Northfield Police received a 911 call reporting shots fired in a building at the 700 block of Highway 3 North. The caller reported that a male suspect entered their residence with a shotgun and had fired the weapon.

The suspect was not located in the area.

Just returned from the local pride celebration and I’m left with a couple of thoughts.

1. It was refreshing to see young and old alike having fun, dancing, and socializing.

2. It restored my faith in humanity. No protestors, no anti trans vibes just normal LGBTQI people being themselves.

One last note of interest, I finally saw a “Femboy” outside of the internet.
