✍️ #TIL | Avoid NPX install prompt
Using npx (Node Package Runner) in a GitHub Action can be difficult, because for security reasons the command requires to type YES at a prompt if the package is not present in the local project dependencies. This can be suppressed by providing --yes in version 7. But there is a workaround for v6 and above, by passing yes via environment variable: npm_config_yes=true npx ...
Would love if fellow playwrights checked out my NPX page. I need help with my play "Bloodied Hands." Will read something in exchange for feedback! #NPX #playwright #play https://newplayexchange.org/users/4399/jessie-salsbury

How would y'all feel about an #npx-based deploy tool? Something where you do `npm publish`, with your minified, built artifacts, etc, and then just do `npx something @mycompany/myapp start`? So you deploy that way instead of using git clone?
Installing npm@5 in a node:6 docker image:
npm install --global npx
npx npm@5 install --global npm@5
(I'm updating our CI tasks to take advantage of some new npm features, but had to get npm up-to-date first.)
