I met Taz (IG @Tazio3538) at where he has been one of our most loyal and vocally appreciative audience members since the beginning, despite being nonverbal.

Taz was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegia when he was just over a year old, but that has not stopped him from pursuing his artistic passions. His poems have been featured in Rooftop Rhythms. He had a opening last night.

Boom.Diwan is bringing Arturo O’Farrill back to build on 2019’s Cuban Khaleeji Project. They will record through the week and then culminate in a concert in the Black Box at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi on Dec 10
