Idea: Oakland's neighborhood councils sponsor a series of monthly "transparency" meetings. Each month, we have a councilmember or department head or administrator discuss their efforts at building and maintaining transparent systems for Oaklanders. Attendees have a lengthy opportunity to ask questions.
