It’s one of the best, most intelligent, literary, not to mention nihilistic shows of all time. A show that is brutally critical of the patriarchy, white supremacy, homophobia and even the characters themselves. And yet the fan base is full of boomers with American flag profile pictures who think when Carmela says “ugh, why is gay stuff everywhere now??” you’re supposed to agree with her.
I think I have a pretty good idea why this is, but it still makes me laugh.
