1. I got a cortisone injection in my knee yesterday in ANC at the best Orthos in the state. For the first time in several years, I am pain free in my knee/shin/foot. Seriously, I could cry.

3. We are heading to Yellowstone and then a Bluegrass Fest in Grand Targhee next week. My pictures, they will be a 'changin'.

After a come-to-Jesus moment with my PT today, I'm calling my Ortho in ANC tomorrow and getting the ball rolling for a knee replacement.

It'll be my 4th joint replacement (two hips, one shoulder) and I'm here for it. I've walked out the next day after each surgery, no problem.

I'm actually grateful that what's wrong with me can be fixed with surgery. Things could be so much worse than having a skeleton that's 15 yrs. older than your chrono age.
