#Pallasites are a stony-iron class of #meteorites that represent the mantle-core boundary zone of a large differentiated asteroid. They are composed of a mixture of nickel-iron matrix and olivine (peridot) crystals. Imilac pallasites are found in Chile's Atacama Desert.
