So I'm back on my home ground. I've come back to Te Tairawhiti for a tangi. My heart goes out to her. Instead of it being her wedding weekend has turned into the funeral of her future husband who became very unwell quickly due to his health. He was an elderly man. And he had lived a long life filled with love and music. When we got to the marae all she said was 'it's good to have you home baby.' I've been away for 5 years...#home #papakainga #tangi
