Swift's #satire uses a literal epic battle between books to explore the debates of his time among authors and critics Inspired by Boileau's Lutrin and illustrating the debate within European intellectual circles between the #"Ancients," who argued that all essential knowledge was to be found in classical texts, and the #"Moderns," The battle continues today between #paperbooks and #digitalbooks

Still wonder if I should stop buying books in paper or switch to ebooks instead. #paperbooks #ebooks
So I'm listening to Rachel Hawkins and Sally Rooney on audiobooks and somehow I can't keep up, so I think I might have to stop doing that and finish them by reading them instead.
Also started The Shining, a thiccc book and I'm halfway in with Lisa Scottoline.

@BeCeejed I do most of my reading as #ebooks. I occasionally buy #Paperbooks, but mostly when I want to support a particular author or because they're better in paper (e.g., The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris), or James Rebank (the Herdwick shepherd guy on Twitter.)
Otherwise, ebooks from trad pubs, mostly. Most of my readingis on my iPod Touch, in bed, at night.
