The White-headed Pigeon is a shy native bird that is probably heard rather than seen around #Brisbane (listen for a loud "wOOk" followed by a much softer "wOOk"). This individual watched me silently and cautiously while perched under a Macaranga tree next to #PerrinCreek. It was long gone when I returned minutes later with a proper camera. #BirdsOfAustralia
