In this brave new world a phone scammer from wherever in the world can cold call a hospital room phone, on a ward for people recovering from emergency surgery, calling whenever they want, to try to convince the person who picks up the phone to give them credit card details to reverse a supposed charge for a MacBook Pro.

I’m beyond livid.

Yeah, I know on the other end I’m just a number and a chance for a payout, but this is breathtakingly morally repugnant.
