Never thought I’d be a #CubScout mom, but here I sit working on a #PinewoodDerby car with my son after taking a fairly challenging hike with his #Pack30 this morning.

Derby day! Starting out a bit in the back of the pack for the 2023 father of the year, but we knew building shit wasn’t our event. After struggling through a complete lack of adult tools and some creative differences, we’re ready to take our beating. #BittersweetMoment Last night was my final #PinewoodDerby with my own children. In two weeks, my youngest bridges over, and my time in #CubScouts ends. What a ride over the last 9 years! I have spent the last 4 years as #Cubmaster. My time in #ScoutsBSA is not over by a long shot, though.

Ok car is fully assembled , I'm not too optimistic about the wheels spinning well though I will get some of the graphite to speed it up. The car looks very good though has a lot of mistakes and imperfections in my decorating work , but I still think it should be one of the better looking cars #pinewoodderby
