PDC confirmed the #PLDarts lineup, and it just goes to show how much the 8-player format completely ruins it all.

World nos. 1/2/3/4 in Smith/Wright/Price/MvG is grand; but then we have #7 Clayton, #9 Aspinall, #11 Dimi, and #21 Dobey in.

All this leaves out #5 Humphries and his four Euro Tour titles last year, #8 Noppert the defending UK Open winner, and #17 Ross Smith the European Champion.

Really needs to go back to the 12-player format...
