Well, finally you had gotten a day off from the long grueling work week. What better way to spend it in the most authentic way possible? Outside in the luscious green scenery of the plains, with a backpack full of things you might need! Sunscreen, swimshorts, towels, bug repellent... more bug repellent... and a nice pair of swim attire to cover over you once you reach your destination!

Where you were headed was one of the tourist attractions you'd heard about nearby in your city, but never really took the time to investigate it and see it yourself.

It was called The Grand Lake, known to put even the rowdiest person into their relaxed mindset and truly set them free. It was always vague, as if there was an air of secrecy around it. Not to mention the pictures and reviews of such a lake were beyond immaculate. Whenever the sky shone blue, so too did the water, as if it were sparkling.

Once you arrived, you saw the place of business, and the large fence surrounding the mass of the enclosure. To make sure there was no liter to be found in the pond. Reminiscent of when society used to have lots of free outdoor pool places.

A lady made her way out and came over to greet you, "Hello there! Welcome to The Grand Lake, might I get your name? Then I'll show you to the changing rooms and then the lake."

Quickly you'd give out your name, eager to get this show on the road as she would lead you in. Letting you make a quick change into your swim attire, before making your way outdoors to the lake.

"Remember, no personal belongings by the lake, you can put your stuff away in the free lockers over there." She made note of saying before wishing you a great time, and then simply heading back inside the small building.

As you trudged through the deep and winding cave, you stumbled upon an exit into a part of the cave where light shined upon a glistening pond of water in the middle. Almost crafted perfectly by nature, until a sudden figure splashed out of the water.

It's sleek, soft tiny white fur glistening against the sun's embrace as it shined down on it. The seal-looking individual seemed to take note of you and wave, wearing something akin to that of a full-body rubbery swimsuit. As well as carrying a sort of fishing net in those flipper "hands" of his.

They stepped out of the water and shook themselves off before making their way to you. Noting that this seal creature did indeed have legs and flippery feet that were just as white as the rest of him. "Helloooo! My name is Buddy! I am a Dewgong! We are now friends! Here, take fish!"

From the fishing net, he pulled out a fish and gave the slimy sucker that was still writhing around to you. He seemed to happily smile before walking off to go and do something else.

You are left with some confusion, a slimy fish you can take home and cook up, and curiosity around the strange "Dewgong" you have found wandering and or living inside this cave. They seem to be playing with some chalk on the wall, and occasionally look your way to simply give you a happy smile.

What a day.
