Today in 1835 was the last time in the #UK that men were executed for buggery after James Pratt and John Smith were spied on in a private room. 135 years later to the day the #GayLiberationFront held the UK's first #GayRights demonstration in Highbury Fields, #London against continued #PoliceHarassment. A plaque marking the occasion was unveiled in 2000.
