Does anyone self-host their portfolio and have experience with that?

With the current ArtStation debacle, I’m considering updating my website (www.sukrittan.com). It DOES currently host part of my portfolio. But it’s just JS parsing JSON into pages: not the most robust solution

Should I use #Wordpress? #Hugo? Etc?
