While all the discourse coming out about #Schofield and #ThisMorning has been largely sensationalised by the media (some of which has been overtly homophobic), there does need to be a serious conversation about how there is a culture of maintaining the toxic hierarchy between the crew and on-screen talent, and this is largely perpetuated by senior members of staff and higher-ups (I’ve seen this play out a handful of times and heard anecdotes from others in the film/TV industry).
