I get the blockchain backlash, but find user-controlled/owned #verifiedcredentials for personal ID compelling, be it proving (pseudonymously) I'm not an AI/sockpocket/content-farm, or saving time with online signups. SSI doesn't need a cryptocurrency but normally has some kind of #distributedledger.

Ja, Wallets kann man separat halten. Trotzdem muss ich mein Handy in einer unterlegenen Situation rausholen, anschalten und zumindest teilweise entsperren.
