@pfred60 @auscovid19 I think that too many doctors learned about #Semmelweis and have not been able to move past that to atmospheric transmissions. They have confused public mask use with masks in operating theatre. The #Cochrane review has done to #COVID what the BMJ did to #measles vaccines and #autism.

This toot highlights the body of knowledge that, for decades, prepared the scientific foundation for the rapid development of #COVID #vaccines. But leading scientists ignored it. Same as coming to terms with with spread by vapour required a generation of doctors to move beyond #Semmelweis.

The cookers have misinterpreted this as nothing was in existence and vaccines were created without thorough science.
