I finished editing the second draft of my novel.

I am starting to share it with beta readers & am proud to report that I made one reader cry.

Well, my story made her cry. At an appropriate time.

Trying not to freak out, but feeling ridiculously giddy.

Damien hates people who are late. As it happens, his first scene starts with his pet peeve.

Excerpt:
"... I looked at the clock & growled in frustration. It’s ticking seemed to mock me.

Why my longest & most faithful companions couldn’t hold to the same standards, I’d never understand.

I told them dinner would be ready at eight sharp.

It was two minutes past."

Slithered - Most who know of Damien would assume he has no values, but he has a few he holds dear. He's honest, fiercely loyal to those he loves, and protective & proud those over whom he reigns. Oh... And he's a stickler about punctuality.
