The FT ran a story on #BlueSky this morning that (at least) mentioned #Mastodon in passing, but underlying the piece is an expectation that (for now at least) we are seeing the 'balkanisation' of a space once dominated by #twitter.

Which is to say, that for micro-blogging #sociamedia, perhaps one size does not fit all;

I saw someone describe Mastodon as "social media for nobody" on Twitter and while I feel that's kind of catchy and I understand, at a certain level — I don't think that's fair.

Mastodon is absolutely social media for a certain sort of person.
