Meh. Things like gun marketing and the #NRA lobby only play on our society's preexisting preferences. In any other country, they would be dismissed as bonkers.

And there never seems to be enough Americans against gun violence to make it an election issue. Nobody's marching in the streets against it. For the most part, people seem to be fine with it.

Many of us Americans absolutely hate guns. Many states and local municipalities have clear gun laws.

The violence is a symptom of our political system, gun marketing, poorly worded second amendment, and the NRA lobby. The lack of change is a symptom of our two party system.

In the UK the system appears to encourage knife attacks. Not sure about other European countries. France has some spectacular violence.
