I went west for a picnic lunch today, hoping to meet an otter. Despite my hanging around on the coast for hours, they didn’t show up, probably because it was such a lovely, warm day in a sublimely beautiful location that they lost track of time. I expect they thought the same of me when they finally did arrive to find me gone. 😊 The day was so perfectly quiet and still I could hear some ducks splashing around in the water a couple of small islands away. #SoloPicnic #OutWalking #Highlands
