My first game of 10th edition 40K I was matched up against a Sisters of Battle player. He had three baby knights as allies, which aren’t as scary as their bigger cousins.

I ran my Avatar right into the center table objective. He pumped a lot of fire into it, doing very little damage. But then got into melee with him and slowly wore him down.

Fun game, was close, won 36-33, only finished 2 full rounds.

Hoping to finish up my last few Harlequins before our tournament Saturday. But they’ve decided to use the balance changes to be released Thursday, so my list is likely to change. Of course, the ones I’m painting are staying in either way.

Hopefully my units don’t get too nerfed in the general smack down that Eldar is expecting. I hope they actually fix the army rules instead of just a blanket points increase, but we’ll see.

I only have 6 more harlequins to paint before my local tournament in a week. I planned to be further along but cat cone catastrophe means I haven’t painted in two weeks.

Should be able to wrap up this weekend, not going anywhere.

Avatar won’t be finished, but it’ll at least be table presentable.

Of course I’ll be happy if I win one game next week
