The #SteelBridge in #PortlandOregon, is a double deck vertical lift bridge, which allows for the crossing of five different types of transportation.
- Top deck - Automobiles and Light-rail.
- Bottom deck - Trains and Pedestrians.
- Under deck - Ships to move up and down the #WillametteRiver.
For small boats, the bottom deck can be raised by itself without affecting the top deck, and for larger ships, both decks can be raised together even higher.
