You know what America cannot afford? We can not afford to continue to give oil companies one more fucking dollar. They are burning the god damn place down costing taxpayers trillions in damages.

A mass movement to stop oil subsidies might be one of the least drastic but most effective ways we, as people, have to bring an end to the climate crisis.

The added benefit would be an additional $20 billion to spend on education, healthcare, etc, each year. Also, the long-term ability to live on the planet.
