130 lead tablets were discovered at the Celtic-Roman town Aquae #Sulis (today Bath) in Britain.

The tablets were deposited in the sacred spring which was built up into a major Roman Baths complex accompanied by an adjoining temple.

The #Celtic #goddess of the spring was Sulis.

The Roman name of modern Bath was Aquae Sulis which means “Water of Sulis”.
