Can we please retire the cutesy stock openers like "I don't know who needs to hear this" (you definitely know who you think needs to hear this) and "louder for the people in the back" (those late arrivals?)? Just find a way to say why you think something needs to be said, and say that. Or don't say why, and just say the thing as well as you can. #SundayCurmudgeon #MightDeleteLater
