Big Bertha is *by far* the best character in the original Super Mario Bros movie. She's inscrutable, uncompromising, sensual, kinetic, playful, brash, tough, and stylish. In a better timeline, we would have gotten a Big Bertha spinoff movie and it would have been an instant cult classic.
