Looking at the Tax Court's decision on applying the APA to adding listed transactions to §6707A and musings on impact of the election on tax legislation. #TaxToot #TaxMastodon https://www.currentfederaltaxdevelopments.com/podcasts/2022/11/13/2022-11-14-impacts-of-the-election-on-tax
So far I'm not seeing a lot of enthusiasm for the IRS domestic partnership exception from filing Schedules K-1 and K-2 among those I'm talking with. I do wonder how much time it's going to take to handle partner questions for those the CPA doesn't prepare the return for. #TaxToot #TaxMastodon
Excited to see @edzollars on Mastodon. A great source for information on developments that tax preparers need to be aware of #taxtoot
@porkrind @DTM @andreacpa0 @jckristoff that's what I had suggested because of other industries doing something similar. I like #taxtoot though
Saw a new one today. Business client forwards an email from an employee’s accountant (their spouse) who demands a 2019 W-2C is filed to report information already on the original W-2. I have a better idea - Why don’t they just enter more than Box 1 when while doing their 1040? #taxtoot #WhatAreWeCallingThisAgain
