I honestly think we should get the Sixteenth Amendment repealed and abolish income/payroll taxes if we're not going to make them progressive. As currently implemented, income and payroll taxes are oppressive to workers.

We work too hard for too many hours for too low a wage, and then the Federal government, most state governments, and even some local governments take a cut before we even get paid.

Meanwhile, billionaires freeload off the rest of us.
