When we told the advertisers they needed to be worried about #brandsafety many of them listened. Some rolled the dice, now it's the same for all companies on Twitter.

Yesterday I talked to @TheBradBlog about the harm #Musk is causing & what we can do about it.
I focused on actions & pressure campaigns to reduce harm at #twitter & the #LGBTQ folks attacked by #ElonMusk, like former #TrustAndSafety head #yoelroth.

One interesting thing I haven’t seen discussed is Twitter’s rules for limiting how many people you could follow based on number of followers

It always felt arbitrary & like a big game but seemed to have played a big role in the jockeying for influence &
why regular people got so fixated on the numbers

I like that I don’t have to play that bullshit game here & can just follow as many people as I want to
