Ik vond travelogue al werelds, maar nu echt helemaal petje af voor deze band.
Het klinkt zelfs nu totaal niet gedateerd.
Ik begin nu wel te snappen waarom ik Heaven17 ook zo goed vind, trouwens ook een band die ik pas heel laat ontdekt heb. Daar dat de eigenlijke oprichters van deze band waren.

Pity it wasn't anything like as successful as the band's later incarnation (Don't You Want Me etc), but then, it's quite an odd record.
Also today, I've somehow managed to get quite a lot of work done, in spite of being so tired that I'm nauseous and wobbly. I think maybe I'm too tired to be distracted.

The lyrics were a statement on the Lebanese civil war, which had been exacerbated by the Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon in 1982. Band member Philip Adrian Wright commented that Oakey's lyrics were written specifically about the Sabra and Shatila massacre
