Richard Rodgers (Sound of Music) schreef Blue Moon al in 1934 voor een film, maar werd niet opgenomen. Enkele versies en films later toch opgepikt. Elvis coverde het in 56 op zijn debuutalbum. The Marcels zongen het naar nr 1 in 1961. #themarcels #bluemoon #nonkelmuziek #muziek

De bekendste versie van Blue Moon is van The Marcels die er in 61 mee op nr 1 stonden. Origineel geschreven door Richard Rodgers en Lorenz Hart voor een musical.
