Streamed last night and really enjoyed it. One question: How can you set a noir movie in L.A. in 1977 and not have at least one Steely Dan song on the soundtrack? Other than that, I loved it, though. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are great, separately and together, as, respectively, an enforcer and a P.I. who must work together, and Angourie Rice as Gosling's 13-year-old daughter nails the role of a neglected, latchkey kid as latchkey kids were just starting to become a thing.
