De begeleidingsband op zijn album zal hij in 1997 omdopen tot en maken hun debuut in 1998.
Het album zal het eerste zijn dat online beschikbaar is via , het eerste dat legaal verkrijgbaar is via streaming volgens Frank.
In 2003 komt er een einde aan de geruchtenmolen en volgt er een reünie van , en Frank is zelfs bereid werk van Kim Deal te spelen oa .
In 2007 komt zijn eerbetoon aan uit .

In 1983 ontmoet hij die zijn kamergenoot is op de unief, in zijn tweede jaar gaat hij een half jaar naar Puerto Rico en schrijft aan Joey een brief dat ze het nu moeten doen.
Ze stoppen beiden met school en gaan werken, Frank schrijft ondertussen songs en herschrijft vroeger geschreven teksten.
In 1986 richten ze dan op, en in 1987 releasen ze hun eerste demotape later The Pixies EP, en krijgen

In 2004 keert ze terug naar The Pixies, om in 2013 haar bass over te laten aan .

Vanaf 2013 zal ze vervangen bij .
In 2019 zal ze overlijden aan complicaties ten gevolge van ALS.

For about 10 yrs, you'd hear The Pixies playing in my car stereo on the regular. Me & 3 friends did a random weirdos dance on school field, mounted & did amateur acrobatics w/goal posts & while singing along to this at Spectrum High School in 1992 & people called the cops on us 😂

Spaanse Indierock band opgericht in 2003 te Barcelona.
Ze breken door dankzij hun eerste single, welke een cover is van het nummer "Gigantic" van . Wat tevens hun grote voorbeeld is, en dat hoor je vooral aan hun debuut EP "Consumir Preferiblemente".
Het trio heeft een grote invloed op de Indie en rockscene in Spanje en heeft een grote invloed op latere jonge bands.
Ze brengen een Indierocksound met een riotgrrrl twist en attitude.

All-female Garage punkband uit LA opgericht in '82, door singersongwriter en bassiste van bands en .
De band was één van de eersten die tekenden bij een majorlabel en ware geliefd bij roddelpers door hun vele escapades en ruzies binnen de band.
